Through purposeful play and hands-on experiences in literacy, STEM, art, music, and movement, they naturally build Spanish fluency while growing academically, socially, and emotionally. Our nurturing preschool program is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE).

Located in the heart of historic Old Town Fairfax, ChiCeLaCu offers a warm, home-like learning environment beside the Fairfax Museum—formerly Fairfax Elementary School, built in 1873 as the county’s first two-story brick school. Children enjoy daily adventures at the six-acre Ratcliffe Park, where expansive green spaces, playgrounds, sports fields, and a covered pavilion inspire them to play, move, learn, and explore in the fresh air.

All ChiCeLaCu teachers complete ongoing professional development, comprehensive background screening, and required health and safety training. This includes current age-appropriate CPR and First Aid certification, emergency preparedness, illness prevention, and allergy awareness—helping us create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels known, supported, and inspired to learn.
