Falls Church / Tysons Vienna and McLean. Perfect for families looking for part-time and full-time school age in-person childcare filled with indoor and outdoor fun and safe socialization as students also work on their assigned virtual classes. The ChiCeLaCu! Falls Church / Tysons in-person daycare is in close proximity to Tysons, McLean, Vienna, Oakton, Wolf Trap, Great Falls, Falls Church, Pimmit Hills, Merrfield, Idylwood, Oakton, and City of Fairfax.

Bring your child or your learning pod or neighborhood cohort to us! While in our care, students will enjoy a structured environment to work independently on synchronous and asynchronous learning with breaks and activities scheduled throughout the day to ensure that students have ample physical activity, mental breaks and safe socialization. ChiCeLaCu! will work to support school schedules and is committed to providing a safe environment where students and staff adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines including social distancing and cloth face coverings.


Families will also have the option to enroll in Spanish Immersion classes later in the afternoon. Spanish will be offered through traditional classroom instruction coupled with a variety of interactive and dynamic strategies, including cartoon drawing for kids, pencil drawing for children, coding, dance, games, arts & crafts, and much more. The language portion of the program will be delivered by ChiCeLaCu! experienced language teachers. 

ChiCeLaCu! will provide a safe and structured environment with access to plenty of large indoor classrooms and private outdoor learning space and playground in its licensed Falls Church facility. Students will remain with their own pods or cohorts throughout the day. Facilities will provide WIFI capabilities to ensure access to each student’s online learning requirements. Each classroom will be staffed with teacher / teacher assistant who will oversee daily activities and provide some academic and technical assistance to students as needed. Children will be expected to work independently on their respective school assignments, but support will be provided to keep students engaged during the online learning activities, particularly for the younger age groups.  

All students are expected to abide by ChiCeLaCu!’s Student’s Code of Conduct.

COVID PRECAUTIONS

The following are just a few of the procedures currently being implemented to ensure the safest environment for our students: 

• Between 6-7  students per classroom
• Strict hand washing practices
• Social distancing with ample indoor and outdoor space
• Cloth face covering for students, teachers and staff.
• Careful screening with temperature checks and staggered scheduling for students, parents, and teacher
• Rigorous cleaning and disinfecting procedures for surfaces, materials, toys, etc
• Students remain with their core groups at all times
• Outdoor classes weather permitting
• Excellent indoor air circulation
• Safe outdoors socialization 
• Scheduled delivery weekly cleaning and sanitized and fresh Mats 
• Parental Guardian Health Screening Commitment Form
• Safety guidelines shared with parents when registered

Professional Sanitizing Services

In addition to the daily rigorous cleaning and disinfecting procedures, a trained Cintas technician will perform sanitizing service weekly, applying disinfectant to surfaces, such as flooring, furniture, doors, light switches, doorknobs, handrails and work areas and/or apply sanitizer to food contact surfaces such as food tables, coolers and display cases. Also included are fresh mats for entrances, bathrooms, and halls. Signet Neutral Disinfectant (DS1) will be used, which meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. DS1 is a one-step disinfectant that is effective against a broad-spectrum of bacteria, and is virucidal.
